Why a meet & greet?
Amy Sits Pets requires this so I can learn more about your pets needs as well as behavior. Clients should also feel comfortable with who is caring for their fur family so please be sure to ask questions.
What do I bring for boarding?
Please bring your pets food to maintain their regular diet, favorite treats, toy, and comfort items such as a bed or blanket that smells like home.
What happens during house sitting?
Sitter will stay overnight in your home with animals. Monday - Friday sitter will let out and fill dishes, then return midday for a let out, and back at 5pm for the night. Amy Sits Pets offers 24 hour care Saturday & Sundays only for an hourly rate.
Will my pet be left alone?
With my partner available, there will always be someone in home with your animal(s) even when I step away for another service. We make a great team to keep everyone safe and happy!
If there is an emergency your pet will need to be kenneled and a back up plan will be followed for letting out and feeding.
What about behaviors?
Due to having small children in the home, Amy Sits Pets will not accept animals that are not comfortable with children.
I will accept animal reactive at no addiditonal charge. Please mention at time of booking so I can block the dates off.
What about vaccines?
Proof of the Rabies Vaccine is required for any requested service.
It is highly recommended to vaccinate against Bordetella, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus), Canine Influenza combo, Canine Leptospirosis, and Canine Lyme Disease.
Optional: Treat seasonally for fleas and ticks.
What about medication?
Amy Sits Pets can administer medications. Please let me know on the google form their needs. Make sure to include any tips or tricks you may use!
